When co-owner/ architect Carlo Calma asked me if I wanted to host a night at Vask’s new Curve Room, a champagne bar cum oyster/ caviar lounge cum gallery, I was like, “Sure, why not!” It’s fun to try something new– at least once, right? It just so happened that December had a cool date (Friday the 13th) and we opted for a Kill Bill theme as a tribute to edgy performances, a night of mystery and living on the edge. Besides, Quentin Tarantino was always known for his elements of mystery and surprise!
I was adamant that I only wanted to partner with my favorite DJ for my first event– DJ Katsu aka Katrina Razon, who was arriving that week in time for the holidays.
