One of my dear friends in Miami, Andrew Zarzosa, is now the executive chef of The Betsy Hotel South Beach. (*He used to work atMakati Shangri-La in Manila, was exec. sous chef at Shangri-La Rasa Ria in Kota Kinabalu, and was executive chef at The Fairmont Jakarta. Miami peeps will remember his bestselling ramen at Yuzu at the Design District, and we’ve done a few Cross Cultures events together, promoting Filipino food here.)
